I was disappointed, however, that most of the book was geared towards women in their fifties; much if it did not pertain to women beyond that age. Her interviews are very thorough and goes a long length describing the hard and difficult world of transgender people both male-to-female and female-to-male. It really helped me a lot in terms of stress management. There are so many flaws with this character you don't really care that they fall in love. Also, despite handling some heavy topics, this book has content suitable for all ages of readers (no cursing, sex scenes, or gratuitous violence), although the writing style is in no way simplistic or dumbed-down for younger readers. Says our hero, "I, too, will build a flying machine". She just tells everyone she meets that she is on a very secret mission which she can't divulge any details, and yet she wonders why everyone suspects her of being a spy.As for the romance aspect, I don't feel like her and Miles really had time to build a decent relationship before Faith suddenly believes she loves him (after only a few days of barely interacting with eachother) And thMcGonigal has taught for a wide range of programs at Stanford University, including the School of Medicine, the Graduate School of Business, and Stanford Continuing Studies, where her popular public courses include "The Science of Willpower" and "How to Think Like a Psychologist."
