We both enjoyed the illustrations about echo and sound dampening, and since he had played with both of them in real life, he now has a visual understanding of how they both work. I bought this book to read on a long flight and two things occured. A better choice would be "The Life and Doctrines of Jacob Boehme" by Franz Hartmann.. Good basic instructions at the back of the book, just to get you started.The items are nicely photographed and just looking through the book for this review makes my fingers itch to try out one or two of them.Well worth the money.. I enjoyed most of the short stories.A couple were too weird for my taste.Graham Parker & Kinky Friedman were especially entertaining.. He's not a deep 'teller of tales' in order to let us see all his personal angst. There are some small changes between the 18th and 17th editions. This is a funny story, not a morality tale, but I was happy to see the plot thread of reindeer obesi
